How much cardio should I do to lose body fat?

I want to lose body fat and become lean/ripped but how much cardio should I do to lose body fat and how many times do I need to cardio in a week at the gym?
And also I need to make sure that I am not burning away muscle tissue because I am bodybuilding at the moment so please try and give me the right amount of cardio I should do.

    It depends on how much you weigh and how much body fat you want to lose. If you have a lot of body fat to lose, you will want to do more cardio. If you have not too much body fat to lose, you don’t need to do as much cardio. But regardless of how much body fat you would like to lose, you must, MUST continue weight training (lifting weights) to maintain your muscle.

    You cannot build muscle and burn fat at the same time; it is either one or the other. When you build muscle, you always gain a bit of fat (depending on how many more calories you ate above your maintenance calories). What body builders do is, they do 2 weeks of heavy lifting (to gain muscle), then 2 weeks of cardio and not as heavy of lifting (to burn fat yet maintain your muscle).

    If you really want to be exact about the number of calories you should eat and the number of calories that you burn doing whatever cardio you do, try http://caloriecount.about.com/
