It can be tempting to get rid of the fat quickly but the results will only be short lived. If you are looking for something long term then you need to adapt your lifestyle. Choose meats that are lean to make sure you are getting the protein you need for muscle repair and strength. In addition eat foods like breads and rice that are brown rather than white as they are better for weight loss as well as prevent problems like bowel cancer.
Having a routine that you can easily stick to is the key. Set meal times and exercise time and ensure they are stuck to. There is no point in setting unrealistic goals. Aim to lose 2lb of weight each week as losing slowly will ensure it stays off. To make things more enjoyable you could have a treat when you lose a certain amount but go for things like a new top, jeans or a day at a spa rather than chocolate.
