My Lose Body Fat Story

One thing I really wanted to do was lose body fat. So I embarked on a diet to find out if I can lose body fat fast, and how the best ways to improve my health.

I was looking for weight loss solutions that would make sense for me, and dieting that would actually make a different. When I watched tv, and I looked at all the thing going on in the world, adn the quick fixes that come with all these programs. I have to admit, I tried all kinds of different things, and I used to have a gym membership, but the funnies thing was, I was never able to consistently go the gym on my own.

5 years ago, I weighed in at 150 pounds, and before you know it, I was about 185. And, I can tell you that most of that weight gain was not due to muscle mass. It was due to eating poorly and not exercising. My intake of fatty and fast foods went up quite a bit, and my exercise was essentially zero.

I drank more alcohol than I ever did too. And then, I also started to get back problems. It was probably because of the diet mixed with poor exercise.

I decided that that was it. I was going to get in shape, and I was going to lose the body fat. My weight loss solution was to go and get a trainer. I found a personal trainer, and I signed up to lose weight. But, what I found out, was that was not what I needed. What he was really got at was working you to build muscle.

In order to lose body fat, I needed to change my percentages. I needed to increase my muscle mass, and also work on my diet. I embarked on a strenuous weight training regimen with my new trainer, Ray.

My workout regimen is 4 days a week for one hour, and then 2 days a week on my own doing cardio.

I have gained quited a bit of muscle thus far, and my body fat has gone down from 38% to 17%. My goal is to continue to update this blog with tips from what Im learning at the Gym, and other articles I find on the internet, and in my own reading.

If you are looking to lose body fat, and looking for a quick weightloss solution, the first thing I need to tell you is that it doesn’t exist. You need to change your lifestyle, and you need to change your eating and exercise habits. If you are willing to do those things, then you will do fine.
