Consuming fewer calories than your body burns up in a day is the easiest way to think of weight loss. When this is accomplished on a regular basis you will lose weight quickly simply as a result of creating a deficiency in calories that your body needs for energy. The remaining calories needed will be pulled from your stored fat cells.

When you are gaining weight, you are giving your body too many calories and forcing the excess to accumulate in your fat cells.
