What are some healthy foods to eat to lose body fat?

i want to lose body fat and gain muscle and be tone. i need to know what kind of foods i should i eat.

    Lean protein like fish or chicken breast combined with exercise should do the trick. It also helps to limit your carb intake.

    Eat protein with every meal, healthy snacks in between. Don’t eat junk or processed foods. Bread pasta crackers should be eaten very limited. Eat lots of vegetables and fruit. You can use protein powder also. I drink whey protein powder every morning. It helps you gain muscle. Do cardio everyday even on the days you are lifting. 30 minutes of cardio before lifting will help you lose weight. I did it 3 years ago with the help of a trainer and lost 86lbs. Good Luck

    adding to the answers above u can have food with omega 3, like salmon and fatty fish, row nuts, flex seeds, and CLA supplements. omega 3 food or supplements increase ur healthy cholesterol and decrease ur bad cholesterol, and help ur body to burn the fat specially around the belly. good luck

    Eat very lean meats and use a low fat cooking spray or something like that. Eat a lot of veges. 2 oz. of lemon juice in an 8 oz. class of water helps to burn fat too. Find some all natural, whole wheat bread because it is a little healthier for you but don’t eat a lot of it.

    Protein is definitely what you need to eat to gain the muscle, but be sure that you are getting protein from a source that is as low in fat as possible. To gain muscle and to lose weight are two different things, so you need to cater to each need. Protein is a must for the muscle, but to lose weight, its more of what you SHOULDN’T eat than what you should. You can only create fat cells, you can’t lose them once they’re there, so you simply need to shrink them, to do that you need to basically stop “feeding” them. Fat feeds fat, so the more fat you eat, the more will go to your fat supply in your body, the less you eat, the more your body will have to use the fat in your body as a source as opposed to that which is consumed. Of course, everyone needs SOME fat in their diet, just try to keep it to a minimum, and of course, stay away from sugar and such…just think, marshmallows are basically pure sugar, and they are fat free, the same with gummy bears, but they are DEFINITELY not a diet food.
